Arrival & Departure

  • The usual check-in time is after 3 pm. Please ask us if an earlier check-in is possible.

  • You can check in by yourself using the keys in the lockbox next to the door. You will receive the code on the day of your arrival via message (AirBnB).

  • Please park your car in the parking lot marked with the sign.

  • The usual check-out time is 11 am. Please ask us if a later check-out is possible.

  • Please just leave the keys in the lockbox and change the numbers.

Using the Jacuzzi

  • You can use the jacuzzi any time between 7 am and 11 pm. Read the next questions on how to use it. If you need help, please ask us.

  • Yes, please take a shower to get rid of any deodorant, lotions etc. This helps us to keep the water clean and use less chemicals.

  • Fold the cover once in the middle over the metal bracket. Then you can pull the whole cover with the metal bracket backwards so that the cover is on the side of the jacuzzi.

  • Press the power button on the remote control.

Making a Fire or Barbecue

  • Yes, you can. Ask us to bring you some firewood if there is none next to the fireplace.

    Important
    If you leave before the fire is burnt down, please close the glass cover.

  • Yes, you can. Look in the grey cabinets for utensils. Ask us for help if necessary.

    Important
    Don't forget to turn off the gas after you have finished.

Having a Picnic and Enjoying the View

  • There is a beautiful view from the upper meadow. Walk up the mown path in the meadow to the left of the old farmhouse and you will see a swing and a picnic table where you can sit and enjoy the view. There is also a cool box to take away in the cupboard.

Going for a Walk with the Dog

  • There are many beautiful paths for a walk with your dog starting from the apartment. Hiking paths are marked with yellow signs.

    You could go uphill to the two castle ruins in Schellenberg (Untere Burg and Obere Bug).

    Or you could go for a walk in the next village in the nature reserve Ruggeller Ried.

    And of course you can also do longer hikes in the mountains, e. g. in Steg or Malbun.

  • Yes, you are legally required to keep your dog on the leash when outside. This is mostly because of deer and other animals.
